About the Course

This four-week course is designed for school leaders, educators, and organizational teams seeking to build and sustain a culture where authenticity and accountability flourish. Grounded in emotional intelligence, systems thinking, and relational awareness, participants will explore how their individual behaviors and schoolwide structures shape the collective culture. Through guided reflection, discussion, and application, leaders will learn to transform reactive patterns into empowered, trust-based relationships that foster excellence and sustainable growth. The course integrates principles from Transactional Analysis, the Drama and Empowerment Triangles, and Systems Theory, providing participants with a framework to identify cultural dynamics, realign relationships, and implement structures that nurture authenticity and accountability in their schools.

Shawn Edwards is an AMI Certified Elementary Guide with 15 years of teaching experience and 18 years of experience as a Head of School. She is a Positive Discipline Trainer and holds a master's degree in Transformational Leadership and Coaching from the Wright Graduate University for the Realization of the Human Potential. She works for the Center for Guided Montessori Studies as an Instructional Guide and a Practicum Advisor for Leadership.
